The DTC-530 is available in two colours: camo and green. Both colours can play back images. The description below applies to both the camo and green DTC-530. Both versions are the same price.
As at 21 Dec 2009 there is a 2 week delay on the camo version of the DTC-530. The green version is in stock and can be delivered within 7 days.

Summary

The DTC-530 and SG-550V are physically identical in size and shape. The camo print pattern is identical, right down to the tiny "KEEPGUARD" text embedded in the pattern
All ports, jacks and the remote control are identical
The remote control is interchangeable between the DTC-530 and the SG-550V
A Wildlife Monitoring client has confirmed the circuit boards are identical - only the firmware differs (SG-550V has a background image with butterflies; DTC starts up with the camera name "KEEPGUARD" which matches the text embedded in the camo print pattern)
