The warranty card should be returned to the manufacturer at the address provided. Postage stamps will be required. All support queries can be raised directly with Wildlife Monitoring and we will assist you with warranty claims.
The instruction manual is 26 pages long and is very comprehensive. It includes photographs and diagrams where required and is written in clear English.
Camera

Of course, the camera is included! In this case the camera is the SG-550V (with image viewer in the remote control). This model is only available in CAMO STEM colour.
The white dots across the top are the infrared LED array. These illuminate in a dull red colour and act as a flash for the infrared sensor when taking photos or videos at night.
The circle at centre is the passive infrared (PIR) motion sensor.
The red circle below the sensor is the camera lens. The red filter moves in front of, and away from the camera lens depending on whether it is daytime or night time. While the camera is off this part is loose and moves about behind its clear glass cover. This is normal.
Just above the logo is a groove for the Python (or other) security cable.
Access for inserting the SD card and batteries is through a compartment on the bottom of the camera.
Remote Control

The remote control is also in the box. In this model (the SG-550V) the screen can also be used to view photographs and the first frame of video clips.
The remote control connects to the camera via the attached USB lead.
You can tell that in comparison to the USB plug, the remote control is tiny.
There are 5 buttons on the remote control: Menu; Up; Down; Right; OK.
Strap, Cables and Thank You Card

The box includes a strap which can be used to secure the camera to an anchor point such as a tree trunk. This has a standard plastic buckle attached.
A video cable is also included in order to connect your camera to a television or similar device so that you can view images.
A USB cable is also included in order to connect your camera to a computer so that you can transfer photos and video clips from the camera's SD card to your computer. (You can also remove the SD card from the camera and plug it into an SD card reader if you have one available).
Full Box Content

And here it is - the full box contents!
Please note:
- The Thank You card is the size of a regular business card!
(Now can you see just how small these cameras are?)
Imagine how light it will be to carry these, fitted with just 8x AA batteries, instead of some other makes which take 4x or even 6x D-cell batteries! (This camera will also work with just 4x AA batteries if you're short on batteries - or a 6V DC input lead if available)
Despite the smaller battery size, these cameras are still rated to operate for 80 days in the field. Many happy customers? have reported even longer operating times than this - even in the harshest of conditions.
